‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.2’ Tops Weekend Box Office With $65M

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 managed to take a whopping $65.3 million in its second weekend on top at the domestic box office.

The Marvel sequel fell 57% in its second weekend which is extremely similar to the 55% drop the first Guardians of the Galaxy saw in its second weekend at the domestic box office in August of 2014. The film which cost the studio $200 million to produce has now grossed a total of $248.4 million domestically and a grand total of $632 million worldwide.

Written and directed by James Gunn, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Glenn Close, Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, and Kurt Russell.  Here’s the official synopsis:
