Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed that she still hasn’t gotten a chance to see Spider-Man:Homecoming.
Earlier this summer, Gwyneth Paltrow, who plays Pepper Pots in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, was genuinely surprised when she found out that she was in Spider-Man: Homecoming for a brief scene. The revelation came during Jon Favreau’s The Chef Show, where the Happy Hogan actor brought up the scene where they were in. To everyone’s surprise, Gwyneth Paltrow stated that she had no idea she was in Spider-Man: Homecoming. However, Gwyneth Paltrow did have recollection of the scene where she was about to have a press conference to introduce Spider-Man to the world, but she assumed it was for an Avengers film.
Now, months later, during an interview with Jimmy Kimmel , Gwyneth Paltrow has confirmed that she still has not seen Spider-Man: Homecoming, despite being in it. In the interview, she stated that she was confused by all the interconnected Marvel movies. You can check out the full interview below.
Honestly, it’s really hard to blame Gwyneth Paltrow for getting confused as there are now over 20 films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With each passing year, more films get released, adding to the already large cinematic fabric that Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige and co. have weaved. Also, to her credit, her role in Spider-Man: Homecoming was a cameo at best. Gwyneth Paltrow was last seen in Avengers: Endgame, which is presumably her last film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
