‘Hawkeye’ Star Hailee Steinfeld Set For Many More MCU Appearances As Kate Bishop

The MCU has more in store for Kate Bishop!

Hailee Steinfeld Hawkeye Kate Bishop

Hailee Steinfeld, who entered the MCU in Hawkeye on Disney Plus, is set to reprise the role of Kate Bishop for multiple future appearances.

Hawkeye saw Hailee Steinfeld starring as Kate Bishop alongside Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton in a series that seemed to end with Barton finally passing on the Hawkeye baton.

With Kate Bishop therefore set to take center-stage as Marvel’s Hawkeye, it’s not surprising to hear more appearances are planned for the character. While none of this is official yet, insiders are claiming Marvel are already planning Kate Bishop’s next appearance.

Hailee Steinfeld Is Hawkeye

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been going strong on the big screen since 2008’s Iron Man, but the launch of Disney Plus has seen the MCU making a big impression in its streaming series too.

Given the success of series like Hawkeye, Marvel appears to be set to move ahead with plans to have characters from their various Disney Plus shows crossover into MCU movies. A report from Variety, looking at Marvel’s Emmy nominations, claimed more Kate Bishop adventures were in the works.

According to the report, insiders have let slip Marvel’s plans ahead of official announcements:

“And while it has not been officially confirmed, sources say that there are plans for Steinfeld to reprise the role of Kate Bishop in other MCU projects going forward.”

While it is not yet clear where Haile Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop might next be seen in the MCU, there is certainly no shortage of options. Marvel’s cinematic universe is continuing to grow with a plethora of new projects currently in the works for both theatrical release and Disney Plus. Even if there’s no Hawkeye Season 2, it sounds like there will still be more of Marvel’s new Hawkeye.

Here is the synopsis for Hawkeye:

Former Avenger Clint Barton has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. Possible? Maybe with the help of Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a Super Hero. The two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit.

Hawkeye stars Jeremy Renner, Hailee Steinfeld, Tony Dalton, Fra Free, Brian d’Arcy James, Aleks Paunovic, Piotr Adamczyk, Linda Cardellini, Simon Callow, Vera Farmiga, Alaqua Cox, Florence Pugh, and Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin. Kevin Feige served as an executive producer on the series.

Hawkeye is available to stream on Disney Plus. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding Echo and future MCU projects, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
