An awesome new concept design depicts Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn wearing a costume inspired by the popular Batman: Arkham video game franchise.
The official cast for James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad was announced this past Friday and it confirmed the return of Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn for the sequel. Margot Robbie was the first actress to bring Harley Quinn to Live-Action with David Ayer’s Suicide Squad. In the film, Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn look was inspired by some recent comics and even the Batman: Arkham games.
However, Harley Quinn is known for donning her traditional court jester costume from Batman: The Animated Series. The jester costume was worn by Margot Robbie in Suicide Squad for a very brief time. Harley Quinn played a important role in Rocksteady’s three Arkham games. The studio’s trilogy closed out with Batman: Arkham Knight, but there have been many rumors over the years pointing to the Arkham series possibly continuing in some form.
