Harrison Ford reportedly helped a crew member who suffered a suspected heart attack on the set of Indiana Jones 5.

After numerous set backs and a long production, Indiana Jones 5 is looking to finally finish principal photography very soon. The film, which stars Harrison Ford in his fifth and likely final outing as one of the most iconic characters in cinematic history won’t hit theaters until the Summer of 2023, and fans are curious to reunite with the beloved archaeologist roughly 15 years after the release of the heavily-maligned Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

With production nearing completion on Indiana Jones 5, a new report from The Sun claims that a crew member suffered a suspected heart attack and was said to be noticed by Harrison Ford. A source close to the film’s production reflected on the situation, claiming that the actor shouted, “Get me a medic quick,” upon noticing a crew member suddenly collapsing.

According to the source, Harrison Ford was standing just yards away from the crew member in question, and noted that there was “a huge amount of panic” on set. The source also mentioned the following:

“The on-site first aider did CPR while they waited for an air ambulance and paramedics to arrive.”

As of right now, the status of the crew member is unknown, and production on Indiana Jones 5 is set to finish in Pinewood Studios in London on Friday. Earlier this week, producer Frank Marshall shared a photo from Pinewood, teasing that the film is officially on the homestretch of completing production:

Here is the synopsis for the previous Indiana Jones film, Kingdom of the Crystal Skull:

STEVEN SPIELBERG and GEORGE LUCAS bring you the greatest adventurer of all time in “a nonstop thrill ride” (Richard Corliss, TIME) that’s packed with “sensational, awe-inspiring spectacles” (Roger Ebert, CHICAGO SUN-TIMES). Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull finds Indy (Harrison Ford) trying to outrace a brilliant and beautiful agent (Cate Blanchett) for the mystical, all-powerful crystal skull of Akator. Teaming up with a rebellious young biker (Shia LaBeouf) and his spirited original love Marion (Karen Allen), Indy takes you on an action-packed adventure in the exciting tradition of the classic Indiana Jones movies!

Indiana Jones 5 is set to hit theaters on June 30, 2023. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for all the latest news on Harrison Ford and Lucasfilm’s upcoming projects, and subscribe to our YouTube channel for more video content in the future!
