Tom Felton Doesn’t Expect Original ‘Harry Potter’ Stars To Reprise Their Roles

Tom Felton discussed whether or not the stars of the Harry Potter films will ever reprise their roles in the future.

The Harry Potter book series spawned eight feature film adaptations that were incredibly successful at the box office and continue to hold a special place in the hearts of many fans. While the film franchise concluded with the release of The Deathly Hallows Part 2, J. K. Rowling continued the story with a two-part play titled Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, which followed the eponymous wizard and his friends as adults.

With nostalgia-driven films being popular for the time being, some Harry Potter fans are wondering if the cast of the original films might one day reprise their roles in a future project. However, Tom Felton, who portrayed Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter films, stated that he does think the original cast will ever return when asked during an interview with Red Carpet News TV:

“How much you offering? I’m joking. I don’t think it will be reprised, to be honest with you. I think it was a wonderful eight chapters and I think everything that needed to be done was done. So, I think they’ll take it further on in their own direction. But we’re all still immensely proud to be a part of it, and we’re glad it’s still as popular as it once was.”
