Comic book artist David Aja has shared an unused poster for Marvel’s Disney Plus series Hawkeye.

Hawkeye featured the first one-screen teamup between Clint Barton and Kate Bishop, with the Disney Plus series drawing inspiration from an award-winning Marvel comic book run by Matt Fraction and David Aja. Hailee Steinfeld made her debut as Kate Bishop in Hawkeye and is expected continue playing the character for years to come. Meanwhile, Jeremy Renner’s Marvel Cinematic Universe future is currently a mystery, with Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars being the most likely projects that could see the return of Clint Barton.

For now, Marvel is working on a Hawkeye spin-off series revolving around Alaqua Cox’s Maya Lopez, a.k.a. Echo. The series, which has wrapped principal photography, is expected to premiere sometime in late 2023 or early 2024 on Disney Plus.

The talent behind the Hawkeye series

Jonathan Igla served as the head writer of Hawkeye, with Rhys Thomas and Bert & Bertie directing the six-episode series. Igla and Thomas were also credited as executive producers alongside Marvel Studios veterans Brad Winderbaum, Trinh Tran, Victoria Alonso, Louis D’Esposito and Kevin Feige.

The cast of Hawkeye also includes Tony Dalton, Fra Fee, Brian d’Arcy James, Aleks Paunovic, Piotr Adamczyk , Linda Cardellini, Simon Callow, Vera Farmiga, Zahn McClarnon, Florence Pugh and Vincent D’Onofrio. The entire series can be found on Disney Plus.
