The first official poster for Hawkeye features Clint Barton, Kate Bishop, a dog, and a whole lot of Christmas cheer.

After making his debut in 2011’s Thor, Jeremy Renner is finally getting his own solo project as Hawkeye later this year. Set during Christmas in New York, the series will see Clint Barton being whisked away on an adventure through the snow-filled seats thanks to aspiring superhero Kate Bishop. The first trailer for the series was heavy on holiday cheer and comedy, making it a stand-out from the rest of the Marvel Studios roster.

With Hawkeye releasing next month, Disney Plus has revealed the official poster for the Jeremy Renner-led series. The sparse poster features Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop standing alongside Hawkeye himself, and a good boy?

It’s unclear who the dog is, but it’s interesting just how much Disney Plus is doubling down on the Christmas elements of the show. Behind the dynamic arching duo – who are rocking their iconic purple garbs, a bridge can be seen littered with holiday lights, and the dog is seen wearing a Santa hat.

Here’s the synopsis for Marvel Studios’ Hawkeye.

Former Avenger Clint Barton has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. Possible? Maybe with the help of Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a Super Hero. The two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit.

Hawkeye stars Jeremy Renner, Hailee Steinfeld, Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Brian d’Arcy James, and Alaqua Cox. Florence Pugh is expected to return in her Black Widow role.

Hawkeye is set to premiere with two episodes on November 24, exclusively on Disney Plus. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news regarding the future of the MCU, and be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
