A key Hawkeye star has shared a brand new look at their Marvel character as the season wraps up.
Spoilers ahead for Hawkeye.
All things must come to an end. The season finale of Hawkeye finally closed up the opening threads of the series and fully introduced us to Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin. The nefarious villain first debuted in Netflix’s Daredevil series, which was strategically shelved after Disney Plus began to commission their own Marvel Studios projects. Kingpin’s presence in the series had been teased since the second episode. Beyond that, he was revealed to be the man behind Hawkeye’s assassination in episode five.
While we don’t break down the season finale of Hawkeye here, we will be discussing the character’s new look. Shortly after the episode premiered, Vincent D’Onofrio took to Twitter to share a new look at Kingpin, taken directly from the show. The solemn look perfectly encapsulates the character and confirms he’s just as melancholic as he was before.
It’s unknown when we’ll see Vincent D’Onofrios’ Kingpin next but with Charlie Cox officially confirmed to return as Daredevil for future Marvel projects, one can imagine another showdown is in the works.
Here is the synopsis for Hawkeye:
Former Avenger Clint Barton has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. Possible? Maybe with the help of Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a Super Hero. The two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit.
Hawkeye stars Jeremy Renner, Hailee Steinfeld, Tony Dalton, Fra Free, Brian d’Arcy James, Aleks Paunovic, Piotr Adamczyk, Linda Cardellini, Simon Callow, Vera Farmiga, and Alaqua Cox. Florence Pugh also returned in her Black Widow role.
The first season of Hawkeye is now available to stream on Disney Plus. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding the series and Vincent D’Onofrio’s return as Kingpin and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
