Hayden Christensen recently hinted at what’s next for him in Star Wars after his return in Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Obi-Wan Kenobi will notably feature the reunion of Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen following their experience together on the Star Wars prequels. This time around, Christensen will portray Darth Vader in the six-episode limited series.

In a recent interview with Total Film, the 41-year-old actor remained tight-lipped on his involvement with the upcoming series and wouldn’t even share if James Earl Jones would be voicing Darth Vader. However, Christensen let it slip that his time with Star Wars might not be over just yet:

“The extent of this journey, I think, remains to be seen. But what a privilege to get to come back and do this, and to be a part of this project.”

Back in October, it was reported that Hayden Christensen would return as Anakin Skywalker in the Ahsoka Tano series starring Rosario Dawson. Filming on the Dave Filoni-led Star Wars series is expected to get underway this month.

Here is the synopsis for Obi-Wan Kenobi:

During the reign of the Galactic Empire, former Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi embarks on a crucial mission. Kenobi must confront allies turned enemies and face the wrath of the Empire.

Directed by Deborah Chow from Joby Harold’s scripts, the series stars Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie. The series will also see the return of legendary Star Wars composer John Williams, who scored a theme.

Obi-Wan Kenobi will hit Disney Plus on May 27, 2022. Stay tuned for all the latest news on the upcoming series, the future of the franchise, and subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
