House of the Dragon is onto the seventh episode next week, and a new promo teases more tension leading up to the Dance of the Dragons.

House of the Dragon‘s latest episode finally brought Emma D’Arcy and Olvia Cooke into the fold with the ten-year time jump. The HBO series continues to build up towards the Targaryen civil war between Rhaenyra and Aegon II for the Iron Throne.

Things don’t appear to be getting any better in Westeros, with HBO releasing a new preview for House of the Dragon‘s next episode. It seems like it’s only a matter of time until King Viserys dies, which could be in the seventh episode since he’s not featured at all in the teaser. There are four episodes to go as the show enters the back half of the first season, and you can see a preview of what’s next in House of the Dragon below.

Here is the synopsis for House of the Dragon:

Based on George R.R. Martin’s book Fire & Blood, the series will tell the story of House Targaryen (a.k.a. the House that gave us the Mother of Dragons herself, Daenerys Targaryen) and take place 300 years before the events of Game of Thrones.

Miguel Sapochnik and Ryan J. Condal serve as co-showrunners on House of the Dragon and are executive producing alongside George R. R. Martin. The series features a star-studded cast that includes Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Paddy Considine, Rhys Ifans, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, and Sonoya Mizuno.

New episodes of House Of The Dragon premiere on HBO and HBO Max every Sunday at 9 ET. Stay tuned for all the latest news on the ongoing series, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
