A report suggests that Howard the Duck will return in Marvel Studios’ upcoming She-Hulk series!

Marvel Studios is doubling down on its serial efforts. One of the most anticipated shows coming out of the franchise’s slate this year is She-Hulk, which has been rumored to be the franchise’s first true comedy. If that wasn’t enough to convince you that She-Hulk will be different in tone to the previous series, wait till you realize Howard the Duck just might show up.

One of Marvel’s most popular and comical characters, Howard the Duck has been the butt of one too many jokes. The character made his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in Guardians of the Galaxy and was later prominently featured in an episode of the animated series What If…? Now, it looks like the iconic duck might be appearing in She-Hulk of all shows.

An excerpt from Picsou Magazine, an officially licensed Disney outlet in France, seems to hint that Howard the Duck will come across She-Hulk in the upcoming show. The translated text (via ComicBookMovie.com) heavily implies that the character has a planned future in the MCU.

“Howard the Duck seems to be part of Marvel’s plans again. [In] the What If…? series, he got married to Darcy Lewis. Does the duck, elected in 2009 as one of the strangest characters in the Marvel team by ‘Time”‘ magazine, have a promising bright future? In any case, the She-Hulk series, which lands this year on Disney +, could reserve some ‘what the duck’ surprises! This should delight lovers of this turbulent duck, determined to do as he pleases.”

Marvel Studios hasn’t shared too many She-Hulk details yet, but Kevin Feige described She-Hulk as a “half-hour legal comedy.” Kate Gao served as the head writer on the Disney Plus series, with Kat Cario and Anu Valia directing the ten-episode season.

She-Hulk stars Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, Jameela Jamil as Titania, and Tim Roth as the Abomination.

She-Hulk will debut on Disney Plus in 2022. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding the upcoming Marvel Disney Plus series and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
