Australian actor Hugh Jackman has been busy preparing for his role in the upcoming Marvel movie Deadpool 3. Jackman recently shared a photo of his diet plan for the movie, giving fans a glimpse into the preparations he is making for his highly-anticipated return as Wolverine

In the photo, which was shared on Twitter, Hugh Jackman’s diet plan is laid out on a table, with a wide variety of healthy foods included. The actor is known for his intense fitness regimen, which he has maintained throughout his career. With the third installment of the Deadpool series on the horizon, Jackman is taking his Wolverine preparations to the next level.

Deadpool 3 once again features Ryan Reynolds as the Merc with the Mouth, with Hugh Jackman co-starring as Wolverine. The two characters have a long history in the comics, but the two haven’t shared the big screen since 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

The first two Deadpool movies were produced by 20th Century Fox before the studio’s acquisition by The Walt Disney Company. Deadpool 3 is being written as the first movie in the series set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Shawn Levy is directing Deadpool 3 after working with Ryan Reynolds on Free Guy and The Adam Project. The upcoming Marvel Studios project also marks a reunion between Levy and Hugh Jackman as the two worked together on Real Steel.

Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are developing the Deadpool 3 script after penning the first two installments in the series. The Molyneux sisters worked on a previous draft of the project.
