Hulk Originally Fought In ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Final Battle

Avengers 4 Infinity War Marvel Russo Brothers Mark Ruffalo Trailer

New concept art from The Art of Avengers: Infinity War book has confirmed Hulk was originally set to help take on Thanos during the final battle sequence of the Marvel film.

Fans will remember the film’s trailer capped off with an epic shot of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes charging together towards the army of Outriders but this shot was absent from the film’s final cut as was Hulk from the battle of Wakanda. Instead, Hulk refused to come back out for the remainder of the film following the opening scene in which he was easily beaten by Thanos.

While it seemed Hulk may have been afraid to take on the Mad Titan again, Infinity War directors The Russo Brothers have confirmed Hulk simply refused because he doesn’t want to fix Bruce Banner’s problems for him anymore. But thanks to this concept art, and the shot above which was left out of the film, it’s clear this wasn’t the original plan Big Green Guy.
