The Hulk is bringing back his savage nature! The latest rumor for Spider-Man: Brand New Day reveals new details about the hero’s return in the film.
Fans have been begging for a return of a ‘Savage Hulk’ for years. While the concept was nowhere near bad, and something that was a status quo for some time in the comics, it was clear Marvel never had the time nor budget to pull it off in the way they wanted. And with the Green Goliath confirmed to return in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, fans have been hoping for a bit of a primal reversion for the Incredible Hulk.
The latest rumor for Spider-Man: Brand New Day seems to suggest just that. Scooper MyTimeToShineHello teases that Hulk will revert to his “savage” persona during the events of the film. It’s currently unclear if he’ll start savage, and his regression will be explored in another project, or if the film will explore the devolution of Hulk and Banner’s relationship.
Hulk’s Role In Spider-Man: Brand New Day
It seems as though Hulk won’t just have a cameo in Spider-Man: Brand New Day either. Another rumor from Nexus Point News reveals that the character will have a “substantial” role in the upcoming film. This lines up with prior Spider-Man films, which seem to always have another hero playing second fiddle to the webhead.
Given Hulk will be much more savage in this film, it’s unclear if he’ll be a hero or an antagonist in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Regardless, it does seem likely that he’ll come to blows with Tom Holland’s wallcrawler at least once throughout the course of the film. And, hopefully, the meeting of the Marvel giants will be worth the wait!
