Iain Glen suits up as Gotham’s Dark Knight in a new image that imagines the Game of Thrones star as Batman for DC Universe’s Titans.

Titans is set to introduce Iain Glen as its Batman when the series returns for its second season on DC Universe. After the actor was announced to have joined the cast of the hit comic book series in April, and with production on the second season currently underway in Toronto, it didn’t take long to get our first look at Iain Glen as Bruce Wayne. A set video revealed Iain Glen’s Bruce Wayne filming scenes with Brenton Thwaites’ Dick Grayson. However, we still have yet to get our first official look at Iain Glen donning the cape and cowl as Batman.

While it will likely be several more weeks until we get our first look at the highly-anticipated second season of Titans, and possibly the reveal of Iain Glen’s Batman at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, fan artists including g_reenzo are here to make the wait a little more easy to bear, offering what Iain Glen could look like suited up as the Dark Knight for the DC Universe series. Are you excited to see Iain Glen as Batman in the upcoming second season of DC Universe’s Titans? Sound-off in the comments!

Earlier this week, Warner Bros. Television announced that Titans would be part of its San Diego Comic-Con lineup this year for a special 2-hour DC Universe event on Saturday, July 20, beginning at 7 p.m. in the Indigo Ballroom of the San Diego Convention Center.

In addition to Iain Glen, the second season of Titans will also introduce audiences to Deathstroke and his family, with Esai Morales as Slade Wilson himself, Chella Man as Deathstroke’s son Jericho, and Chelsea T. Zhang as Deathstroke’s daughter, Rose Wilson, a.k.a. Ravager. Joshua Orpin is also joining the series as Superboy along with Drew Van Acker as Aqualad.

Titans follows a grown-up Dick Grayson working as a Detective in Detroit, having left his nights with the Caped Crusader long in the past due to having fundamental differences with Batman’s methods and approach to crimefighting before becoming the leader of the heroes known as the Titans. Here’s the official synopsis for the series:

Titans follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find belonging in a gritty take on the classic Teen Titans franchise. Dick Grayson and Rachel Roth, a special young girl possessed by a strange darkness, get embroiled in a conspiracy that could bring Hell on Earth. Joining them along the way are the hot-headed Starfire and loveable Beast Boy. Together they become a surrogate family and team of heroes.

The series stars Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson/Robin, Anna Diop as Starfire, Teagan Croft as Raven, Lindsey Gort as Detective Amy Rohrbach, Alan Ritchson as Hawk, Minka Kelly as Dove, Ryan Potter as Beast Boy, Dwain Murphy as Negative Man, Jake Michaels as Cliff Steel, April Bowlby as Elasti-Girl, Bruno Bichir as Dr. Niles Caulder, and Conor Leslie as Wonder Girl, with Curran Walters as Jason Todd, and Iain Glen as Bruce Wayne.

Titans is now available exclusively on DC Universe in the U.S. and on Netflix internationally. Also, Swamp Thing and Doom Patrol‘s first season are currently streaming on DC Universe. A Stargirl series is currently in development and expected to premiere on the streaming service sometime next year. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news on DC Universe.
