New set photos from James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad offer fans a first look at Idris Elba and John Cena in the highly-anticipated DC Comics movie.
Warner Bros. and DC’s The Suicide Squad is set to reimagine the eponymous team of villains, with writer-director James Gunn assembling a large cast that includes Idris Elba and John Cena as newcomers. While details on The Suicide Squad are being kept under lock and key, Idris Elba is said to be playing the DC Comics character known as Vigilante while John Cena is believed to be Peacemaker.
Now, Just Jared has revealed new photos from the set of James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad that give fans a look at Idris Elba and John Cena in their respective roles. The photographs show Idris Elba and John Cena in prison uniforms as they film scenes in Atlanta with their The Suicide Squad co-stars Viola Davis and Daniela Melchior, who portray Amanda Waller and Ratcatcher, respectively.

The first Suicide Squad followed a team of supervillains who were recruited by the government for a dangerous black ops mission in exchange for reduced sentences. The ensemble cast included Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn and Jared Leto as The Joker. James Gunn is expected to deliver on the fresh take on the Suicide Squad in his upcoming movie.

Henry Cavill’s ‘The Witcher’ Debuts New Poster & First Look Photos
Netflix has released a brand new poster for the Henry Cavill series The Witcher along with a slew of first look photos.
A stunning poster for the upcoming Netflix series The Witcher made its debut this morning, featuring Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia. In addition, Netflix also dropped the first official photos of Anya Cholatra as Yennefer and Freya Allan as Ciri as well as two more stills that offer fans a fresh look at Geralt.

Based on the fantasy series of novels and short stories by Andrzej Sapkowski, Netflix’s The Witcher will follow the monster slayer for hire named Geralt of Rivia (Henry Cavill). Showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich will also serve as an executive producer on the series while Alik Sakharov, Alex Garcia Lopez and Charlotte Brändström are on board as directors for the eight-episode first season.
