"The Illuminati will see you now."

Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness Illuminati

Marvel Studios has released official images of the Illuminati in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

By far the biggest reveal in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was the appearance of Illuminati, which featured a cameo-fest with alternate versions of Captain Marvel, Baron Mordo, Black Bolt, Captain Carter, Professor X, and Mr. Fantastic. Since the Marvel film has come out, it’s been reported that some other characters that were considered to appear in the film included Ghost Rider, Deadpool, Balder the Brave, and Michael Fassbender’s Magneto.

No Professor X or Mr. Fantastic Yet!

Of course, the Illuminati end up getting killed by Scarlet Witch in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, but their inclusion in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is still a major one. With the film out for several weeks now, Marvel has finally dropped an official look at Baron Mordo, Captain Carter, Captain Marvel, and Black Bolt from the film. However, we are still missing official looks at Mr. Fantastic and Professor X. You can check out the images below.

Here is the synopsis for the Multiverse of Madness:

The MCU unlocks the Multiverse and pushes its boundaries further than ever before. Journey into the unknown with Doctor Strange, who, with the help of mystical allies both old and new, traverses the mind-bending and dangerous alternate realities of the Multiverse to confront a mysterious new adversary.

Directed by Sam Raimi from a script written by Michael Waldron, the film stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, with Michael Stuhlbarg, Rachel McAdams, and Patrick Stewart.
