Invisible Man director Leigh Whannell recently stated that it’s “terrible” that fans can’t see Zack Snyder’s Justice League cut.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League cut has been one of the most talked-about stories in Hollywood for the past year. Both fans and stars from Justice League have assembled together to try and get Warner Bros. to release Zack Snyder’s cut of the film. Their pleas aren’t going unnoticed, as everyone seems to know about the fabled Zack Snyder cut. While promoting his upcoming Invisible Man film, director Leigh Whannell chimed in on his thoughts regarding Zack Snyder’s cut of Justice League.

Speaking with ReelBlend, the Invisible Man director was asked what he thought about the unseen version of Justice League. It turns out that the Invisible Man director is in the same boat as the rest of us and think it’s terrible that Zack Snyder’s version is unseen.

“To me, I never wanna have another cut sitting somewhere that competes with the original cut. I guess what I’m saying is, whatever circumstances created that cut, whatever horrible circumstances are totally understandable. For me personally, I would always view it as a terrible thing that there was an unseen cut of the film.”

The Invisible Man director is super humbling in stating that he doesn’t want what happened to Zack Snyder to happen to his version of a film because, after all, who would want to have to compete with their own film? There isn’t any indication as to if Warner Bros. has any plans to release Zack Snyder’s version anytime soon. However, the Justice League director has been actively vocal about the film and has been sharing plenty of behind-the-scenes photos and videos on his social media.
