Marvel Studios’ concept artist Ryan Meinerding revealed an unused War Machine design for Iron Man 3.
The third installment of the Iron Man film series saw Don Cheadle trade his War Machine suit for the Iron Patriot armor. However, the creative behind the film evidently toyed around with the idea of including a new design for the War Machine armor.
Now, concept artist Ryan Meinerding has unveiled his updated War Machine design that ultimately went unused in Iron Man 3. In the caption included with the photo, Meinerding notes that he was a fan of “the contrast between matte and gloss metallic surfaces” for the unused armor.
