Fans have loved watching Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man across the last ten years of Marvel movies, and an incredible poster from 2019’s D23 honors the star’s legacy as the hero that started off the MCU. From his humble beginnings as a simple genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist to a self-sacrificing hero, the poster pays homage to each of Robert Downey Jr.’s appearances in the MCU.

Marvel artist Reyan Meinerding revealed the D23 poster on Instagram, explaining that it was an honor to paint Robert Downey Jr. ever since the first Iron Man film. The artist also mentioned that he was grateful to create another piece celebrating both the star and the character. While the D23 poster highlights key scenes from every Marvel film Iron Man’s appeared in, it also includes a nod to Tony’s greatest foe, Thanos.
