Could Captain America: Brave New World have featured a true Patriot? A newly surfaced BTS photo gives fans their first look at Isaiah Bradley’s cut suit.
The more that comes out about Captain America: Brave New World, the more it seems that the film cut more content than it actually had. From impactful scenes with Isaiah Bradley, to the Serpent Society being formed by an entirely different villain from another MCU project, everyday brings more insight into the absolute maelstrom that was this project’s production.
And those winds continue to whip in the latest BTS photo from the film. Originally posted by mcu.portal on Instagram, the image features the stunt doubles for Isaiah Bradley, Ruth Bat-Seraph, and Sam Wilson. The three are all wearing their super suits, which gives fans their first look at what Bradley’s Patriot costume would have looked like in Captain America: Brave New World prior to it being cut from the film.

When Would Isaiah Bradley Have Become Patriot?
It’s clear that this BTS photo came from the White House set used for the film, suggesting that Isaiah Bradley wouldn’t have donned the suit until the climax of Captain America: Brave New World. However, given Sam Wilson was tangoing with the Red Hulk, it’s not exactly clear when Patriot would’ve been useful in the fight, aside from maybe evacuating a few civilians.
With Marvel now scaling back their content output, it’s not likely Isaiah Bradley will be wearing this cut Patriot suit anytime soon. This especially as, even when a sequel for Captain America: Brave New World does arrive, it will likely do everything in its power to distance itself from the absolute mess that was this film.
