Director James Cameron recently took to Twitter to share his reaction to Avengers: Endgame surpassing Titanic to become the second highest-grossing movie of all time.
Avengers: Endgame has been a box office juggernaut, with the film having grossed more than $2.2 billion in less than two weeks. Many fans have been tracking the success of Endgame by the box office records it has broken. Most recently, Avengers: Endgame surpassed Titanic, becoming the second highest-grossing movie of all time at the worldwide box office, just behind Avatar.
This past weekend, it was announced that Avengers: Endgame has officially passed the $2.189 billion global gross of Titanic. While many fans celebrated the achievement, some people had been eager to find out how Titanic director James Cameron will respond to Avengers beating his movie at the worldwide box office.

It seems despite the record being lost, James Cameron is in a pretty good mood about it. However, Avengers: Endgame is still in theaters and continues to pull in more and more money at the worldwide box office, leading many to speculate that the Avatar director will potentially have to release another statement in the near future for the coveted spot of the highest grossing film of all-time.
