James Gunn Confirms Larger Role For Sean Gunn’s Kraglin In ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3’

James Gunn confirmed Sean Gunn’s Kraglin will have a larger role in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

One of the many new characters who was introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Guardians of the Galaxy was Yondu’s right-hand man, Kraglin, who portrayed by director James Gunn’s brother Sean Gunn. While Sean Gunn’s Kraglin played a small role in the first film, the character had a greater presence in the sequel as the sole surviving loyalist to Yondu after some of the Ravagers stage a mutiny.

Now, James Gunn has confirmed that Sean Gunn’s Kraglin will have an even bigger role in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Unfortunately, James Gunn did not provide details on what role Sean Gunn’s Kraglin will play in the sequel when he revealed the news during an Instagram Q&A session and simply replied, “yes,” to a question on the matter.

Are you excited to hear Sean Gunn’s Kraglin will have a bigger role in the next film? Let us know below!

While production on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was scheduled to begin early this year, the project was put on hold following Disney’s decision to remove James Gunn as the director of the final chapter in the trilogy. Now, Gunn will begin production on the third Guardians of the Galaxy film after completing work on The Suicide Squad for Warner Bros. and DC, which he is currently editing from the safety from his home due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Details on the third chapter of Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy are currently unknown, though the film will likely explore the ramifications of the universe-changing events in Avengers: Endgame.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is expected to star Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, and Sean Gunn.
