James Gunn has revealed that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is still on schedule despite Marvel Studios shifting Phase 4 back due to the coronavirus.
Before James Gunn was fired off Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, the film was going to be released this year. Now that Gunn is returning to finish out the trilogy, the film has since been delayed, so he can complete his work on The Suicide Squad for DC. There currently isn’t a release date for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, but Vin Diesel revealed that the team will appear in Thor: Love and Thunder first.
Marvel Studios recently shifted their entire Phase 4 line-up back due to the coronavirus, but it looks like Phase 5 hasn’t been affected for the time being. James Gunn recently reassured fans that The Suicide Squad is still on track to open in August of next year and it looks like Vol. 3 won’t be affected by the coronavirus either.
Right now the plans with Vol 3 are also exactly the same as they were before coronavirus. https://t.co/cVHe31gtPQ
