Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 serves as the perfect end to everyone’s favorite band of misfits. Director James Gunn has revealed the team’s final photo from the ending credits of the film.
The credits for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 featured a look back on the dozens of amazing moments from across the franchise’s history. Many fans may have been too busy wiping their tears from the ending dance party to “Dog Days Are Over” to have even realized that not every picture was from a prior movie. Following hundreds of fan requests, Guardians director James Gunn has released a clear image of the final photo of the beloved team:
Fans already miss the rag-tag group of outlaws known as the Guardians of the Galaxy. However, it likely isn’t the last time we’ll see many of these actors directed by James Gunn. While the Guardians series may be over, Guardians cast members like Pom Klementieff, Karen Gillan and Chris Pratt have all expressed interest in joining Gunn in his DC Universe. The series may be over for now, but it seems as though their love will live on.
