‘The Suicide Squad’ Director James Gunn Warns Fans About Fake Instagram Account

With production on Warner Bros.’ The Suicide Squad already complete, director James Gunn is currently hard at work editing the DC film from the safety of his home during this period of self-isolation. However, Gunn has taken some time to warn fans about a fake Instagram user that is seemingly posing as his private account.

In a post on his official Instagram account, James Gunn warned fans dozens of his female followers have made his aware of this fake Instagram account and warned fans to be wary of imposters. The director of The Suicide Squad explained that while these fake accounts are normally removed immediately after he reports them directly to Instagram, but this hasn’t been the case lately, possibly due to the ongoing quarantine measures.
