The Suicide Squad star John Cena shared a new photo on social media potentially hinting at a future Valiant Comics role.

John Cena is set to step into the world of comic book films with James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad, in which the wrestler-turned-actor will play a currently undisclosed role. However, John Cena recently shared a photo suggesting a potential role in Sony’s Valiant Comics Cinematic Universe.

On his official Instagram account, John Cena shared a photo of Valiant Comics’ hero X-O Manowar, the alter-ego of a warrior named Aric from fifth-century Europe. In Valiant Comics lore, X-O Manowar is abducted by an alien race known as the Vine and later vows to save his people after gaining possession of a sentient X-O Manowar armor that increases his strength. Unfortunately, John Cena did not include a caption to offer insight into the meaning behind his post, though it certainly has fans wondering if he at least being considered for the role of X-O Manowar in the Valiant Comics cinematic universe, which launched last month with the release of Vin Diesel’s Bloodshot.
