‘The Suicide Squad’: James Gunn Slams Paparazzi Photos Ahead Of ‘Peacemaker’

The director took aim at the photographers who sneakily take photos of characters near film sets.

The Suicide Squad director James Gunn took aim at set photos revealed by paparazzi before work starts on the Peacemaker HBO Max series.

Fans are no stranger to set photos revealing the first look at heroes and villains in big budget Hollywood movies or TV shows – and James Gunn isn’t pleased about it. Quite often, the photos show off unfinished versions of certain costumes or highlight things that would later be enhanced by CGI. The Suicide Squad director vented his frustrations in a joke on Twitter when asked about when we can expect to see a costume reveal from the Peacemaker series.

Following the recent news about Vigilante having a role in James Gunn’s Peacemaker, @BlogDeBatman asked the director when the character’s costume will be revealed. The Suicide Squad director slammed paparazzi photographers by saying fans will likely see it when “some knucklehead” manages to sneakily take a bad photo while they’re shooting on location. He’s probably not wrong, so expect some photos to surface online when James Gunn’s Peacemaker starts shooting in January next year.

However, James Gunn is expected to deliver on a fresh take on the team in his upcoming movie.
