Director James Wan revealed Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom finished filming on Wednesday in Malibu with a new behind-the-scenes photo.

Principal photography on James Wan’s Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom started all the way back in June, and it was believed to be finished after Jason Momoa shared an Instagram Story last month. Throughout production, director James Wan has also been sharing some exciting reveals on social media like the new title, Aquaman’s stealth suit, and Orm’s new look. Wan has now shared his latest update and it appears Momoa might’ve forgotten that there was more filming.

On Wednesday, James Wan celebrated the end of filming on the Aquaman sequel with an Instagram post featuring a caption thanking the crew and a behind-the-scenes image with Jason Momoa and Patrick Wilson. You can check out Wan’s Instagram post below.

When an ancient power is unleashed, Aquaman must forge an uneasy alliance with an unlikely ally to protect Atlantis, and the world, from irreversible devastation.

Directed by James Wan, the upcoming sequel stars Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry, Amber Heard as Mera, Patrick Wilson as Orm / Ocean Master, Dolph Lundgren as Nereus, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Nicole Kidman as Atlanna, Temuera Morrison as Arthur Curry, Randall Park as Dr. Stephen Shin, Vincent Regan as Atlan, Jani Zaho as Stingray, Indya Moore as Karshon, and Game of Thrones star Pilou Asbæk in an unknown role.
