A cool new piece of fan art reveals what Jared Leto’s Joker could look like without his Suicide Squad tattoos.

There might be a new Joker on the loose soon from Joaquin Phoenix, but some fans are still holding out hope for the return of Jared Leto’s Joker from Suicide Squad. While many fans had criticisms of what Jared Leto did with the Clown Prince of Crime, some think that with a little help, he could’ve been more traditional in the way some fans expected.

Since it looks like Jared Leto won’t be appearing in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad, this reimagining will have to keep fans going until their Mr. J needs are satisfied with Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker. The new artwork by The Main Man Creation takes off the “Damaged” forehead tattoo while also giving Jared Leto’s Joker a truly sinister smile. Take a look below.

The first Suicide Squad followed a team of supervillains who were recruited by the government for a dangerous black ops mission in exchange for reduced sentences. The ensemble cast included Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn and Jared Leto as The Joker. James Gunn is expected to deliver on the fresh take on the supervillain team in his upcoming movie.
