Jared Leto shared a new video that features a new look at Spider-Man villain Dr. Michael Morbius.
Jared Leto is probably one of the most talked about actors with comic book fans ever since his portrayal of the iconic Batman villain, The Joker in David Ayer’s Suicide Squad. Now, the talented actor has moved on to Marvel and will star as the famous Spider-Man villain. Even though Morbius has been a villain, his story is much like Eddie Brock’s in 2018’s Spider-Man Spin-off Venom. In this film, Dr. Michael Morbius suffers from a disease which leads him to become an anti-hero rather than a full on villain. Jared Leto is very much involved with the role and even uploaded a new video from the set with a caption related to his character. You can view the set video below from the Spider-Man spinoff set.
Jared Leto captions the image “this place of shadows, where we must do what must be done, no matter the cost” and it possibly explains the characters motive in becoming an anti-hero. Perhaps there are far more dangerous things in this world that only Morbius may be able to bring to an end. Until the film comes out we’ll just have to look at what Jared Leto posts from the set of Morbius to bide the time. Jared Leto has teased many things, but with this new update fans should be excited for the film to release.
