Ben Affleck is set to return as Bruce Wayne in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and star Jason Momoa has recently opened up about the experience of working with the Batman actor again.

Originally, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom was set to feature Michael Keaton as the Caped Crusader. However, after the release order of upcoming DC movies got changed around, the Aquaman sequel ended up slated for release before The Flash, which would have explained the change of Bruce Wayne. Consequently, Keaton’s scenes were reshot with Ben Affleck.

Following the recent addition of Ben Affleck to Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom‘s cast, Jason Momoa has talked about getting to reunite with the actor he last appeared alongside in Justice League.

Batman & Aquaman Reunite

While promoting the upcoming third season of his Apple TV+ series See, Jason Momoa was asked by Variety about working with Ben Affleck again for Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.

The Aquaman actor said working with Affleck was “just hugs and kisses, I love that guy. We get along too well, and it’s very good to see him again. Too much fun, it’s too much fun.” After their previous work together on Justice League, it sounds like the DC actors have maintained a strong friendship.
