Titans season 4 features Brother Blood rising as the strongest villain the team has faced. A brand new photo shows Jay Lycurgo’s Tim Drake as he rises to the challenge as Robin.
Unlike its film counterparts, where no Robin aside from Dick Grayson has made their live-action debut, Titans has never shied away from delving deep into the Robin lineage. Previous seasons have seen Grayson give up the cape to take on his role as Nightwing. The role was later given to Jason Todd before his death and revival as the Red Hood. Tim Drake, who is played by Lycurgo, is set to take up the mantle in the second half of the show’s final season. Our first look at his new costume can be seen below:
While many fans hoped that one day Damian Wayne would be introduced into Titans, making it the first time the entire Robin-family would be seen together in live action, Jay Lycurgo’s Tim Drake will be the last Robin featured on the series due to its cancellation by HBO Max. Both Titans and Doom Patrol will air the second halves of their final seasons later this year, marking the end of the shows brought about by the failed DC Universe streaming service.
Can the Titans stop the Church of Blood?
The fourth season of Titans is being split into two installments, with the latter half debuting on April 13. The season’s second half will feature the team facing off against the villainous Brother Blood, played by Joseph Morgan.
Titans stars Brenton Thwaites as Nightwing, Anna Diop as Starfire, Teagan Croft as Raven, Ryan Potter as Beast Boy, Joshua Orbin as Superboy, Alan Ritchson as Hawk, Minka Kelly as Dove, Damaris Lewis as Blackfire, Curran Walters as Red Hood , Jay Lycurgo as Tim Drake, Iain Glen as Bruce Wayne and Savannah Welch as Barbara Gordon. The series was developed by Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns and Greg Berlanti.
