Is Elektra set to appear in Avengers: Doomsday? Jennifer Garner teases yet another return as the iconic heroine in a recent social media post.
One of the most shocking reveals in Deadpool and Wolverine was Jennifer Garner making her return as Elektra. Unlike other characters and their actors, such as Wesley Snipes’ Blade and Channing Tatum’s Gambit, there was no major call for her to reprise her role. And given her original role was both critically panned and largely forgotten by fans, nobody expected Marvel to care enough to bring her back.
Yet it seems that Jennifer Garner may be going for a runback. The actress recently took to social media to post herself getting ready to film a scene for (presumably) Deadpool and Wolverine in her Elektra costume. The image also prominently features a chair with a name on the front, something that has become synonymous with Avengers: Doomsday due to the infamous “Chair day”.

Of course, this isn’t direct confirmation that Jennifer Garner will reprise her role as Elektra in Avengers: Doomsday. It’s very possible that the post was simply meant to draw attention without actually leading to anything. However, given just how big the cast of the film has gotten, her return would be far from the least likely thing.
As for what the “Eleven” on the chair means, there’s been rumors circulating that another “Chair Day” is on its way, showcasing even more cast members for Avengers: Doomsday. It’s possible that in eleven days from her post, Jennifer Garner will be officially confirmed to return as Elektra. Though that is, admittedly, pure speculation.
