Peacemaker is getting a new logo! Jennifer Holland confirms her return to the DC Universe in season 2 with a brand new behind-the-scenes photo.
Season 2 of Peacemaker has already been filming for a few weeks now. However, fans know surprisingly little about the DC Universe’s only returning show. At the very least, the show’s got a new logo! A BTS photo from Emilia Harcourt actress Jennifer Holland shows off the series title has a new font and color scheme.
Compared to the first season of Peacemaker, the logo’s font for season 2 has a much more dynamic color palette and depth when compared to the original flat red and yellow. It’s not clear how extensive this redesign will be. However, given the show is coming into a brand new DC Universe, it’s likely this will be the new standard for the series from now on.
Peacemaker’s New Opening Dance Number
One of the most iconic parts of Peacemaker was its opening, featuring the entire cast in a choreographed dance number. While it’s been confirmed the tradition will return for season 2, it was unclear how the dance would change for the new DC Universe. However, Jennifer Holland may have tipped her hand in her post.
Jennifer Holland’s gallery features a photo of her watching the dance number from Superbad. While one could just chock it up to her watching an iconic movie, the film’s director Greg Mottola will also be helming a number of episodes for Peacemaker season 2. This could mean that the iconic colored silhouettes could be coming to the DC Universe as the show’s new opening!
