‘Supernatural’ Star Jensen Ackles Dons Jason Todd Red Hood Suit In Awesome Image

Jensen Ackles becomes Jason Todd and dons the iconic Red Hood costume in this stunning artwork that imagines the Supernatural actor as the former Batman sidekick.

The image in question comes from popular digital artist BossLogic and shows Supernatural star Jensen Ackles suited up as Red Hood if he were to appear in either a live-action television series or a Batman movie. Jensen Ackles previously lent his voice talents to play Jason Todd in the direct-to-video DC animated movie Batman: Under the Red Hood.

You can see Jensen Ackles with Jason Todd’s Red Hood suit in the artwork below.

In the comics, Jason Todd was the second character to take up the mantle of Batman’s sidekick Robin before becoming the villainous Red Hood. Supernatural star Jensen Ackles has been a fan-favorite choice to bring Red Hood to life in a live-action DC Comics project ever since he voiced the character in Batman: Under the Red Hood.

Warner Bros. doesn’t appear to have any plans for a Jason Todd/Red Hood movie, but fans may get to see the character’s live-action debut on television in the near future. Titans star Curran Walters is set to reprise his role as Jason Todd/Robin when the series returns to the DC Universe streaming service. The actor recently teased his possible transformation from Jason Todd into Red Hood during the second season of the hit series.

What do you make of this artwork of Jensen Ackles as Jason Todd?  Do you think Supernatural star Jensen Ackles would make a good Red Hood? Or would you rather see Curran Walters remain as the only live-action Jason Todd for the time being? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section!

Jensen Ackles will return for the final season of Supernatural, which is set to premiere on October 10, 2019 on The CW. Meanwhile, Red Hood fans can expect to see Curran Walters as Jason Todd when DC Universe’s Titans returns for its second season on September 6, 2019. Stay tuned for more updates!
