Comic-Con: ‘Hawkeye’ Disney Plus Series With Jeremy Renner Officially Confirmed

Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye Disney Plus series was officially announced at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. The upcoming Hawkeye series is currently set for a fall 2021 release date.

In addition, Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye series will also include Kate Bishop. In what capacity, however, is currently unknown.

The Hawkeye series is just one project Marvel Studios is developing for Disney Plus. Shows centered on Falcon and Winter Soldier, Vision and Scarlet Witch, and Loki are also in the works for the upcoming Disney+ streaming service.

Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye can currently be seen in Avengers: Endgame, which is still playing in theaters. Here’s the official synopsis:

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo,  Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau, Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Josh Brolin.

Avengers: Endgame will be released in theaters on April 26, 2019.
