JK Simmons recently praised Zack Snyder’s work and said the director has plenty of scenes to put into Justice League.
Legendary actor JK Simmons recently aired his opinion about Zack Snyder’s Justice League and revealed where he stands on releasing the director’s cut of the film. Fans will remember JK Simmons briefly played Commissioner Gordon in the theatrical cut of the film, but while speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, he explained that he always supports seeing a director’s original vision. The star also praised Snyder for his work in the genre.
“I’m always in favor of a director’s vision, especially a filmmaker who’s been so iconic in that genre in general. There were obviously a variety of reasons for the way things shook out the first time around with that film.”
With the news that the director’s version of Justice League is arriving on HBO Max sometime next year, JK Simmons says he’d definitely be interested to see what else is in the film. The star also teased that Zack Snyder’s Justice League will be an extensive watch since he’s got plenty of scenes and characters that he wants to include. Most fans are already eagerly anticipating the arrival of Darkseid and Green Lantern when the film debuts.
“Whatever your feelings were about the version that was at first released, I think even if you absolutely loved everything about that film, I would certainly be interested as an audience to see Zack’s vision. The one thing I do know for sure is that it will be long, because he’s got a lot of stuff that he wants to get in there.”
