Ancient Greek text translated from the Shrine of the Amazons offers fans new details about Darkseid and his backstory in Zack Snyder’s Justice League.
Snyder’s long-awaited director’s cut of Justice League is finally coming to fruition, with the film set to release on HBO Max early to mid-2021. Fans will finally get to see the original history lesson the director had intended for the film, which will include a Young Darkseid vs Ares, in addition to other Greek Gods during the first invasion of Earth.
But thanks to a Twitter user, we have little more to go on as far as what to expect from Darkseid as the ancient Greek text reveals new details on Darkseid’s arrival to Earth, as well as his exodus at the hands of Zeus and Ares, and how the Mother Boxes were left behind in order to help defend the planet against Darkseid should he ever attempt to return and reclaim Earth.
