Justice League and Wonder Woman are among the DC movies HBO Max has decided to keep on the streaming service.
HBO Max has had an interesting debut after it was revealed a number of DC movies would rotate on and off the streaming platform alongside the surprising news that Zack Snyder’s original vision of Justice League will arrive in 2021. But fans were previously disappointed that some their favorite DC movies wouldn’t be constantly available to watch, causing HBO Max to rethink their library choices, choosing to keep most of the titles fans wanted to see, like Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman.
So far HBO Max has confirmed Wonder Woman, Batman v Superman, Zack Snyder’s Watchmen and the theatrical cut of Justice League will all remain on the service till the end of the year. Interestingly a number of older DC movies aren’t part of the new deal such as Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever, Batman & Robin, Jonah Hex, The Losers and Catwoman.
Are you glad that HBO Max has decided to keep Wonder Woman, Batman v Superman and Watchmen on the service? Sound-off in the comments below!
Here’s the official synopsis for Justice League:
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.
