John Carpenter released a new video announcing the titles for two Halloween sequels that will be released on October 16, 2020, and October 15, 2021.

Director David Gordan Green’s Halloween jettisoned the canon of every entry in the franchise aside from John Carpenter’s original film and seemingly concluded with Jamie Lee Curtis’ Laurie Strode finally vanquishing Michal Myers. Of course, few truly believed Michael Myers was gone for good and now John Carpenter has announced released dates for two sequels titled Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends.

The first sequel, Halloween Kills, is set to be released on October 16, 2020, while Halloween Ends will debut the following year on October 15. Details on the Halloween sequels are currently under wraps, though a recent report indicated Jamie Lee Curtis was expected to reprise her role alongside co-stars Judy Greer and Andi Matichak.
