Obviously, most actors/actresses cast in a comic book movie are expected to put in some workout time at the gym in order to get in the best shape they can for their roles. In the case of John Cena and Joel Kinnaman, The Suicide Squad is no different. In this new photo coming from Joel Kinnaman’s official Instagram page, we see him and John Cena together on a break from shooting. According to Joel Kinnaman, John Cena shocked him with his ability to bench 4,000 pounds.

Joel Kinnaman is one of the returning actors from David Ayer’s Suicide Squad, working with James Gunn on this upcoming sequel, which has been described as a soft reboot of the franchise. John Cena entered talks for a role in James Gunn’s DC movie back in April and was confirmed last month along with the rest of the ensemble cast consisting of both returning Suicide Squad actors and newcomers.
