Johnny Depp’s former estate manager opened up about when he was asked to find the Fantastic Beasts star’s severed fingertip after an alleged attack from Amber Heard.

As Fantastic Beasts star Johnny Depp’s libel trial against The Sun and journalist Dan Wootton for labelling him a “wife-beater” continues, the star’s former estate manager was questioned about finding the severed fingertip after Amber Heard allegedly attacked him. The Fantastic Beasts star himself recently stated that Heard had punched him when she discovered he was in serious debt. The incident took place in Australia and Amber Heard alleges her ex-husband injured his own finger after smashing a phone into a wall. However, Depp claims the injury was caused by Heard when she threw a vodka bottle at him.

The former manager of Johnny Depp’s estate Ben King recalled the incident, since he was asked to find the fingertip after the alleged incident. According to King, there was no broken phone and he never had to replace one. The manager says he found the fingertip by the bar area before seeing a trail of blood spots leading upstairs to a bedroom.

“It was mentioned that it may be somewhere and when I was clearing up I found it. I don’t recall a phone having been ripped off the wall, or having to replace a wall telephone.”

King also explained that when he returned to Los Angeles with Amber Heard after the alleged incident he spotted fresh cuts on the star’s arm and pointed out they were relatively serious. “They were enough for me to say ‘maybe you should put your sleeve down’.” This comes soon after the claim that Fantastic Beasts star Johnny Depp’s ex-wife, or one of her friends, had defecated in their bed during a party.

Here is the official synopsis for the most recent entry in the film franchise, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald:

At the end of the first film, the powerful dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald was captured by MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America), with the help of Newt Scamander. But, making good on his threat, Grindelwald escaped custody and has set about gathering followers, most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise wizards and witches up to rule over all non-magical beings.

In an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans, Albus Dumbledore enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.

Directed by David Yates from a script written by J. K. Rowling, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald stars Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Zoë Kravitz, Callum Turner, Claudia Kim, William Nadylam, Kevin Guthrie, Jude Law, and Johnny Depp.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is now available on Digital HD, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-Ray, and DVD. Stay tuned for the latest news on Eddie Redmayne, J.K.
