Just when you thought Jurassic Park couldn’t get any crazier, the people behind ScreenJunkies are here to remind you how outlandish they believe this franchise has gotten with a brand new Honest Trailer for the recently released Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
The fifth film in the Jurassic Park saga has finally been released on Digital and Blu-ray and that means there’s a new Honest Trailer. This video goes hard on how the franchise is nowhere near what the first film accomplished. They also do a great job of pointing out the similarities between this film with The Lost World: Jurassic Park and the fact that the dinosaurs have gone from magnificent creatures to Looney Tunes characters. No punches are pulled in this very truthful breakdown of the Jurassic World sequel. You can check out the video here.
The video blows your mind by pointing out that every Jurassic Park films contain a ridiculous amount of recycled story components that at this point are getting somewhat tired. Hopefully, we have seen the last of this and other weird hybrid dinosaurs. The film, like the video claims, does get good at the very end and it will be interesting to see if a sixth film would take the franchise in a whole new direction that will be something fans have never seen: an actual Jurassic World.
As a fan of the latest installment in the Jurassic Park franchise, this video was still pretty funny and definitely made some solid points, like the lack of Jeff Goldblum in the film. Hopefully, Universal catches this and makes some adjustments for any future entries into the series.
