Jurassic World 2 star Daniella Pineda has teased that it’s possible we could see a teaser for the dino-rampaging sequel released soon.

With the production now wrapped in the UK and moving to continue the shoot in Oahu, Hawaii, Pineda took to Twitter to share her excitement revealing that she had seen footage from the new film and that we could be seeing it soon. You can check out the tweets below.

Pineda went on to engage in AMA with fans online and later clarified that the footage she had seen was not a full-length trailer however what she did see she said felt like “the biggest movie ever.” The actress also reiterated the sentiment that the next installment of the ongoing Jurassic series will hearken back to the original 1993 blockbuster Jurassic Park directed by Steven Spielberg. Director J.A. Bayona will also be bringing back the use of animatronics and practical effects which could be a return to form for the franchise. Pineda confirmed that she indeed saw a few “really good” animatronics on set.

As for her experience on set, Pineda praised returning stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard as she revealed that watching the two perform was the best part about working on the project for her so far. Howard sweetly responded that watching her as well as Pratt and franchise newcomer Justice Smith (The Get Down) were some of her favorite parts of the experience.

Pineda also confirmed the film will have a plot twist and suggested that Bayona and writer/producer Colin Trevorrow, as well as a few other insiders, are the only ones who know the film’s official title.

Plot details on the upcoming sequel are still under wraps but both Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will be returning as Owen and Claire as the franchise continues the storyline of weaponized dinosaurs introduced in Jurassic World.  In addition to Pineda and Smith, the sequel has added Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, Ted Levine, Geraldine Chaplin and James Cromwell into the mix. Jeff Goldblum who played the self-professed “chaotician” Dr. Ian Malcolm in Jurassic Park will also be returning for the sequel and BD Wong will once again appear as Dr. Henry Wu.

Jurassic World 2 is slated to hit theaters on June 22, 2018. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news on the Jurassic World franchise as we learn it.
