Ray Fisher Cyborg Justice League Zack Snyder CutCyborg actor Ray Fisher continues to campaign for the Zack Snyder Cut of Justice League on the movie’s second anniversary.

Justice League underwent a tumultuous production in response to the negative reception and disappointing box office returns to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, something that was only complicated by Zack Snyder’s exit from the film due to a family tragedy. Although the director apparently approved of Joss Whedon taking over the reshoots, there has been an outcry to release some version of the Zack Snyder Cut that he was working on. A key reason why this hasn’t happened is because Justice League lost over $60 million for the studio, and further development on the film costing even more than that.

Nonetheless, some of the people involved with Justice League have voiced their support toward allowing the original version of the film to see some kind of release, and Cyborg actor Ray Fisher is among them. Cyborg is not expected to appear in any future DC Films movies at this time, so Ray Fisher is free to say what he wants on the subject of the Snyder Cut. As it stands, Warner Bros. have made absolutely no commitment to address the fan campaign and have seemingly dismissed the notion of it going anywhere through anonymous statements to certain press outlets.

Here’s the official synopsis for Justice League:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.

Justice League is now available on Blu-Ray, DVD and Digital HD.
