Check out an awesome piece of Justice League fan made concept art, featuring Darkseid, that will make you wish he could’ve made the final cut of the 2017 DC film.
It isn’t entirely clear how big of a role Darkseid would have had in the film, but now that fans have learned that the villain was set to appear in some capacity, fans have been begging for a glimpse at some concept art. If you’re a DC fan who has been searching far and wide for a look at Darkseid then look no further because one piece of concept art has finally made its way online. The concept art comes from artist datrinti’s Instagram account and features a version of the iconic DC villain that looks like it would have fit right in with Snyder’s original vision.
Plenty of Justice League concept art has been released and discussed by director Zack Snyder on the social media app Vero and has shown fans the original designs and aesthetic that the enemies from Apokolips would have come with. The final cut was obviously very different visually but this new look at Darkseid looks like it walked right out of the concept art we’ve seen from the film’s production thus far. 2017’s Justice League was the most recent DC film released in theaters and fans have been waiting patiently for the franchise to continue. Luckily, if you’re one of those fans, the next year is going to be great. Aquaman hits theaters this December, followed by Shazam! releasing in April. Then, next fall brings the Joaquin Phoenix-starring Joker to the big screen in October and the highly-anticipated sequel Wonder Woman 1984 in November. DC will also be releasing a number of animated films such as Justice League vs The Fatal Five, Wonder Woman: Bloodlines, Batman: Hush, and Reign of the Supermen.
