Justice League J. K. Simmons Commissioner GordonDuring an interview with Den of Geek, J. K. Simmons explained that he hopes to reprise his role as Commissioner Gordon after Justice League.

Academy Award winner J. K. Simmons made his DC Extended Universe debut as Commissioner Gordon in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, though details on if and when the acclaimed actor will reprise his DC role are currently unknown. While Simmons previously stated that there are no opportunities to play the character again in the immediate future, he remains optimistic that Commissioner Gordan will return down the line:

“I hope to do more Gordon and, on paper, I’m committed to doing more Gordon. It’s just a question of which film it’ll be in, whether it’s The Batman or another Justice League, or another DC universe film when we will see Gordon again. But I’m optimistic that that will happen again.”
