Justice League producer Deborah Snyder has revealead a new Snyder Cut scene featuring Wonder Woman and Lois Lane.
During a recent Justice Con panel, Justice League producer Deborah Snyder shared details regarding a scene from the Zack Snyder Cut. The scene, which involves Wonder Woman meeting Lois Lane in the aftermath of Superman’s death, is something that fans will see in the Snyder Cut when it premieres on the WarnerMedia streaming service HBO Max.
“It’s a scene where Diana visits Lois after Clark’s death and she’s been, you know, not going out and it’s just very supportive scene because even though she’s lost her house, she’s coming there not to ask for help, but to help Lois. I can’t wait and you’ll get to see that scene.”
While this Justice League scene has yet to be released online, Zack Snyder did drop another sequence that sees Superman meeting Alfred Pennyworth while wearing a black suit. The filmmaker also told fans that they should expect more Snyder Cut details at next month’s DC FanDome event.
Darkseid was originally intended to play a larger role in Zack Snyder’s Justice League and subsequent DC Extended Universe. However, after Snyder exited the project, Joss Whedon assumed directorial duties during post-production and oversaw extensive reshoots for Justice League that resulted in Darkseid being removed from the theatrical cut. After Justice League opened to underwhelming reviews and underperformed at the box office gross, Warner Bros. reassessed their plans for future DCEU films and Snyder’s five-film arc involving Darkseid was jettisoned.
Here is the official synopsis for Zack Snyder’s Justice League:
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.
